Medicine Doll with Arzu Unel-Cleary
With the gentle art of needle felting, create a powerful altar piece to hold your intentions. With step-by-step guidance, you will work with wool fibres, plant medicine, crystals and an abundance of adornments to bring to life a comforting companion for your journey as wild women.

Wet Felted Baby Slippers with Gail Grunske SOLD OUT
Choose your coloured soft merino wool and create a cute pair of baby booties/slippers. Learn to use a resist to stop the wool felting together and hand sculpt them into shape.

Create a Wet Felted Wool Glasses Case with Gail Grunske. SOLD OUT
In this fun class you will learn how to make a seamless glasses pouch made from pure merino wool. Which colours, how you embellish and decorate your very own arty glasses case will be born from your imagination. You’ll learn to lay wool over a resist, and turn the wool into solid felt. The wool will become sturdy under your hands. The pouch can be used for lots of things, jewellery, treasures etc. No experience necessary.

Make a wet felted hat in soft merino wool with Gail Grunske Only 2 places left
In this workshop i’ll show you how to create your own pattern for your hat (yours to keep) and learn to draught the wool onto your pattern called a “resist”. We then add decorating embellishments in silk and mixed exotic fibres, then manipulate the wool so it becomes firm. We will mould the hat to the shape of your head and ensure your hat is one of a kind. You will make a stylish hat you’ll be proud to wear.

This friendly workshop will teach you the basics of Polymer Clay craft while creating a set of Buttons, matching Earrings and a sweet little Stitch Marker. You will be taught the fun and addictive technique of “Mokume Gane”. Drop Spindle Spinning with Maree White Two tickets left
Learn how to turn greasy fleece into spun yarn using a drop spindle.
In this hands on workshop Maree will demonstrate how to prepare fleece using different types of tools such as a flicker brush, hackles, wool combs and hand carders in readiness to spin the fibre into yarn on a drop spindle. You will learn to spin in the grease as well as plying your yarn. How to wash the fibre and yarn is also shown. All materials included, both sheep and alpaca fleece and the hand crafted wooden drop spindle is yours to keep.

This workshop is for granny square lovers who enjoy utilising the traditional Granny Square into clothing like vests, jumpers and skirts, to name a few, but find the results are often boxy & unflattering. The half granny square may be just the answer – an easy way to shape armholes, neck & hem lines

In this workshop you’ll be introduced to the magic of indigo dyeing. You will learn how to set up an indigo vat, prepare yarn for dyeing, dye a gradient set of skeins and care for your dyed yarn. Each participant will leave with 5 x 20g skeins of dyed yarn (20g of each shade), a recipe, supply list and instructions. All materials will be provided and kits will be available for purchase on the day.
