Raw Fleece Expo
This year’s Alpaca Raw Fleece Expo is shaping up bigger and even better than last year. We have International Alpaca judge Chris Williams giving a running commentary as he judges each fleece on Friday/Saturday. The fleeces will be on display after judging, with a lot of them for sale at bargain pricing for quality show fleeces.
Following the fleece judging on Fri 5thJuly, we are holding a halter show on Sat 6thJuly, where over 60 alpacas will be led into the show ring at the Evan Evans arena at the Maleny Showgrounds. This has drawn exhibitors from northern NSW up to central Qld. anxious to hear what this International judge has to say about their top alpacas.
We invite you to come along and join us as we all learn more about alpacas and their beautiful fleece. Talk with owners and put your hands into this luxury fibre. See you at Knitfest. – Queensland Alpaca Association
