STALLHOLDER TRADING GUIDELINES
Knitfest – Yarn and Fibre Arts Fair, Bunya St, Maleny
Sat 1st July -9am – 5pm
Sun 2nd July – 9am – 4pm
Monday 3rd July – 9am – 4pm
Knitfest Central SOLD OUT!
Knitfest Central (Maleny Primary School Hall) will be open from 7am Sat 1st July, to set up. You can also set up on Fri during the day from 12pm. Knitfest is not responsible for any theft or damage at the event although every care will be taken.
Cancellations
Stall bookings cancelled after 5pm Wednesday 21st June, 2023, will not be refunded. If the event is cancelled, a full refund will be made to stall holders. If the event is postponed due to inclement weather and you are not able to make the new date, your stall fee will be fully refunded.
Qld Health advise that stallholders should use a topless marquee with walls or a stand set up that is shoulder height. Outdoor Stallholders must provide their own marquee. Management does not provide any stall equipment for hire or loan.
Knitfest will operate in varying weather conditions and stallholders must be prepared for adverse weather. Management will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever resulting from adverse weather conditions.
No animals are permitted at Knitfest as it is held on Council and Govt land.
Stallholders are required to remove their own rubbish and waste from their immediate stall location. Stallholders are responsible for leaving their site and surrounding area clean, tidy and undamaged.
All Food Vendors must hold current licences for the Sunshine Coast Council. You must also hold a current Public Liability Certificate for $20 million cover. All licences and certificates must be emailed to knitfest@hotmail.com with your Trade Stall Application.
Spinning Hall We are now taking Bookings
Spinning Hall (Maleny RSL Hall) will be open from 7am Sat 1st July, to set up. Trading hours are 9am – 5pm. You can also set up on Fri during the day from 2pm – 5pm. Certain stalls will be able to set up but please note that the RSL has it’s Fri Night dinners so we only have partial access to the RSL Hall. Knitfest is not responsible for any theft or damage at the event although every care will be taken.
