All aboard the Knitfest Bus for a fun trip round the Festival Precinct!
Knitfest Bus Take at least one trip in our yarnbombed bus, to enhance your festival experience. Get a bird’s eye view of the yarnbombing up and around the main street and down to the showgrounds. The bus constantly loops the circuit from Knitfest Central (Primary School) to the top of town, past the Police Station and Ambulance Centre. On Sat, it also takes you to the Maleny Showgrounds to see the Alpaca Raw Fleece Expo and visit the Maleny Arts and Crafts Workshop showing Displays of Arts and Crafts for sale.

There’s plenty more to see and do in Maleny…..
The Friendship Bridge is back again this year by popular demand. Collect your unwanted woollens, scarves and handknits that no longer fit and string them up at the bridge in Maleny during the festival and for the week after. You can swap it for something you like that does fit or if you’re in need, feel free to take it. Any items left will be donated to the Maleny Neighbourhood Centre to distribute to those in need.
The Maleny Sunday Markets are on each Sunday at the RSL Hall. There are loads of stalls featuring handmade crafts, food, plants and lots more.
