Please note: Kids Club has been moved to Knitfest Central this year. Kids Club stalls are outside. Please apply directly to us by email at knitfest@hotmail.com  if you wish to have a stall in the children’s area. Cost $25
      

 

STALLHOLDER TRADING GUIDELINES 
Where: Knitfest – Yarn and Fibre Arts Festival, Maple St, Maleny
Trading hours:
Sat  30th June -9am – 5pm  – Knitfest Central, Kids Club  and Spinning Central 
Sun – 1st July – 9am – 4pm – Knitfest Central and Kids Club

Knitfest Central (Maleny Primary School Hall) will be open from 8am Sat 30th June, to set up. You can also set up on Fri during the day from 10am. Knitfest has security at the event but is not held responsible for any theft or damage at the event although every care will be taken. 

Spinning Central (Maleny RSL) is used by the RSL until 8pm-ish on Fri night so we cannot set up until 7am Sat. If you would like to drop off your stall equipment and cover it over in a designated space in the hall, please email us at knitfest@hotmail.com to arrange prior drop off.

Kid’s Club –  (Maleny Primary School Hall) will be open from 8am Sat 30th June, to set up. As this is an outside venue, set up will be on Sat at 8am. Knitfest has security at the event but is not held responsible for any theft or damage at the event although every care will be taken. Workshops finish at 4pm so close up around then.


 

 

Cancellations

Stall bookings cancelled after 5pm Wednesday 27th June, 2018, will not be refunded. If the event is cancelled, a full refund will be made to stall holders. If the event is postponed due to inclement weather and you are not able to make the new date, your stall fee will be fully refunded.
Marquees / market umbrellas:
Outdoor Stallholders must provide their own marquees or market umbrellas, which must be in good condition. Management does not provide any stall equipment for hire or loan.
Marquee Weights Compliance :Marquees need to have weights attached at all times and Market umbrellas need to have a weighted base with the umbrella stand able to be securely fixed to the weight. We are a coastal mountain event and do experience wind gusts from time to time. If stallholders do not have weights, they will not be permitted to trade for safety reasons.
Weather:
Knitfest will operate in varying weather conditions and stallholders must be prepared for adverse weather. Stallholders may pack up their stall due to adverse weather conditions. Management will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever resulting from adverse weather conditions.
Pets/animals
No animals are permitted at Knitfest as it is held on Council and Govt land.
Waste and Rubbish
Stallholders are required to remove their own rubbish and waste from their immediate stall location. Stallholders are responsible for leaving their site and surrounding area clean, tidy and undamaged. All

Food Stalls 

All Food Vendors must hold current licences for the Sunshine Coast Council and outdoor vendors must hold a current Public Liability Certificate for $20 million cover. All licences and certificates must be emailed to knitfest@hotmail.com with your Trade Stall Application.

Spinning Cental has SOLD OUT!
1 x Stall still available on Sat at The Spinning Hall  (RSL Hall) in the grounds. You will need to bring your own marquee.
